Montreal becomes the capital of beer from June 6 to 10

The 19th edition of Mondial de la Biere, the most important festival of international beers in America, will be held at Place Bonaventure from June 6 to 10. Featured this year are beers from Argentina, Brazil, and the State of Michigan.

They will include, 724 beers, honey wines, ciders and malt-based beverages, 637 beers from 191 breweries, of which 31 handcraft breweries originating from Quebec, 295 new beers, never offered at the Mondial de la biere in 18 years, and five days of festival where Montreal becomes the capital of beer.

The highlights will include speakers from all over the world and the launch of new beers from Microbrasserie Charlevoix and Archiblad Microbrasserie.
